CONFERENCE CALL

The Fourth International Conference on Markov and Semi Markov Processes and Related Fields (MSMPRF2011) will be organized by Statistics and Operational Research Section of the Mathematics Department, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. The conference will take place in a magnificent environment in Chalkidiki peninsula at Porto Carras grand resort, in September 2011. This is one of the most beautiful and magical places to be in Greece.

The aim of the conference is to bring together and foster collaboration among scientists engaged in research in Markov and Semi Markov Processes and Related Fields. Related fields should be interpreted very broadly. Almost all subjects on stochastic processes, their inference and their use in stochastic analysis, in stochastic finance are welcomed.

A wide range of active research fields will cover featuring at least five invited plenary lectures presented by leading specialists. In addition there will be a large variety of invited sessions and contributed talks.

This conference is a sequel of the three previous conferences on Semi Markov Processes held in Brussels (1986), Compiegne (1999) and Cagliari (2009).
